Curon as an Employer
Curon provides its employees with safe working conditions and comprehensive onboarding into Finnish work culture and practices. We support our employees’ professional development and well-being to ensure high-quality and reliable service for our customers.
We recruit employees both from Finland and internationally. Some of our team members have gained their experience working with international families abroad, for example in Singapore, where domestic helper services are common. Many have several years of experience working in private households, often with Western families. At the same time, we also recruit professionals already living in Finland, including Finnish employees. Domestic helper is a valuable profession, and every employee has the right to fair working conditions and a safe working environment. We are committed to ensuring that these principles are upheld in everything we do.
Comprehensive onboarding and continuous support
We provide thorough onboarding for our employees, covering Curon’s ways of working, Finnish work culture, and industry practices. Our support does not end after onboarding—it continues in daily work. We guide our employees in practical situations and ensure that work runs smoothly and safely from both the employee’s and the customer’s perspective.
Clear employment terms and structured processes create security in everyday work
Curon follows the collective agreement for the property services sector in all employment relationships. This agreement defines, among other things, working hours, rest periods, allowances, public holidays, annual leave, and holiday pay.
Curon takes care of all employer responsibilities on behalf of the customer. Customers do not need to interpret collective agreements, track working hours, or manage payroll.
Work shifts are planned and working hours are recorded systematically, making time tracking transparent and reliable. This ensures that all allowances, overtime, and compensations are handled correctly and on time.
Responsibility in everyday practice
Responsible employment is an essential part of high-quality service. When employees are paid correctly, work reasonable hours, and have sufficient rest, they can focus on their work with care and attention to the customer’s needs. At the same time, this brings ease and peace of mind to the customer’s everyday life.
