About us

Our mission is to make our customers' daily lives easier by providing reliable and high-quality housekeeping services. At the heart of our service is simplifying everyday life. We are happy to help!

The Helper Service was born out of a desire to bring joy to everyday life

Our family lived in Singapore for several years, where hiring a domestic helper was an integral part of the culture. Our helper Jackie quickly became an invaluable member of our family. When we decided to move back to Finland, there was no other option but to move together with Jackie.

The relationship between Jackie and our family is something more than just everyday help. She loves our children with all her heart and balances our busy family life in every possible way. On top of that, she spoils us with delicious food. Jackie also wanted to come with us to Finland, so we had to find a solution for the move.

We knew that keeping a domestic helper in Finland wouldn’t be as easy and affordable as abroad, but we realized that Jackie could be a great help to our friends as well. We quickly gathered several families who Jackie could assist with their daily chores, and so our family and Jackie moved to Espoo together. Soon, word began to spread through our children's daycare, and other parents in the area started asking where they could get such a wonderful helper like Jackie.

The constant inquiries and demand for helper services made me and my co-founder, Tuula, a friend who had also lived in Asia for a long time, stop and think. Our first helpers, Marilyn, Beth, and Roselle, moved to Finland in 2022 and 2023 to assist elderly people and families in our circle of acquaintances. At the same time, we were working on international recruitment for caregivers and nurses and began to wonder why we couldn’t also recruit other professional helpers to Finland. Especially since our team includes Ringa, a healthcare expert familiar with the needs of the elderly, who has witnessed the growing need for home care services firsthand in her work. Our primary desire was also to ensure good working conditions for helpers in Finland. Word spread in Singapore, and many helpers expressed their wish to work in Finland. And this is exactly what we want to offer: a good life for the helpers and more happy moments for families.

We hope our helpers bring joy to families, support to parents, everyday assistance to those with busy lives, and companionship and help to seniors living at home.

The Values of Curon Helper Service

We take responsibility for your home and our helpers

Curon's helpers are professional helpers with a positive attitude, many of whom have worked for years with international families in Singapore. We want to offer the same everyday assistance to families and the elderly, while ensuring good working conditions in Finland. All of our helpers are employed on a permanent basis by Curon and work as trusted employees.

Respectful care

As experts in caregiving, it is important to us to value the lives of our clients. Care is not based on efficient work alone, but on effective communication and maintaining trustworthy relationships. That's why we recruit Filipino domestic helpers to Finland, who have the ability to engage with and assist people with joy.

Fair practices

Curon takes responsibility for the employer obligations and well-being of the helpers. We pay for the helpers' travel to Finland and help them adapt to Finnish culture. We comply with the ethical guidelines and recommendations that govern international recruitment.

Flexible service

The content of the Helper service is always shaped by the client's life situation, habits and changing needs, not by predetermined strict guidelines. We ensure the quality of the service through open communication and rapid response.

The helper service is part of Curon Ltd's service offering and is aimed at both households and businesses.

Curon Ltd assists Finnish companies and organizations in the social and healthcare sectors, as well as early childhood education, with their workforce needs, particularly by recruiting international professionals and handling their relocation. We also provide nursing homes with support for their daily management through consulting or interim leadership. Read more about Curon www.curon.fi.
