Flexible Support for Seniors from a Familiar Maid
Curon’s helpers assist seniors with various daily tasks and household chores, helping them live independently in their own homes for longer. With regular visits, our maids become familiar with the senior's routines and provide trustworthy, dependable assistance with everyday activities.
Our Filipino helpers have hands on experience in elderly care, often having worked as full-time caregivers for seniors in private families. They speak English and, in some cases, Finnish. Communication with seniors is usually smooth, combining different languages when necessary. Additional support in Finnish is available directly from Curon.
All Curon’s elderly care and housekeeping services are offered at the same affordable rate, with a weekly fee based on the number of visits. You can also claim a household deduction for these services on your taxes. Furthermore, seniors with reduced functional capacity due to age or illness may qualify for VAT-free pricing.
Our service areas are Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, and Kauniainen.

Our helpers, or housekeepers, flexibly perform a variety of tasks. You decide how much help your household needs: from weekly cleaning to daily assistance – or something in between. Choose from our service packages: Mini, Basic, or Power. In addition to these packages, you can also book a helper 4–5 days a week, or choose a full-day visit every other week. The minimum regular subscription is a half-day visit every other week. Visit durations are either 3 hours 30 minutes or 7 hours 30 minutes. New subscriptions begin with a fixed three-month contract, which then converts into a regular ongoing contract.
If you don’t need regular service, you can also purchase flexible 1-, 5-, or 10-visit passes from our online store. Please note that with these passes, we cannot guarantee a fixed schedule or a regular helper.
In addition to cleaning, the helper can assist with tasks such as cooking, laundry care, childcare, elderly care, pet care, and light garden and yard work.

Home perfectly maintained, every week
Your familiar helper takes care of all the tasks you agree on together. Why settle for just weekly cleaning? A helper can do much more, such as laundry care, light gardening, grocery shopping, or running errands.
Delicious food, cooked in your own home!
Your helper is a good cook. You can give her recipes of your own choice to cook alone or together, or ask her to surprise you with her own favorites.
Care for your loved ones
Children, pets, and the elderly are important to the helper. You can rely on her when you don’t have enough time to take care of your loved ones or pets, or when it feels like there is too little time for shared activities.
Important facts
Tax credit for household expenses: You can claim the helper service as a household tax deduction. The tax authority confirms the amount of the household deduction each year.
The contract:
The service relationship starts with a fixed-term agreement of three months, which includes a 14-day trial period without a notice period.
After the fixed-term agreement, the service continues as an open-ended agreement.
The notice period for an open-ended agreement is one or two calendar months, depending on the chosen service package.
Our helpers are available on weekdays from 8am to 6pm
- We operate in the Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa and Kauniainen areas. If you would like a helper in another area, please contact us, and we can discuss the possibilities.
- Our helpers travel by public transportation, so we aim to optimize the routes during the workday to make them as efficient as possible.
- Working hours are determined according to the agreement.
- You pay for helper visits based on a per-visit rate. No additional costs are added for travel, as long as the travel falls within the HSL ABC zones.
- Visits can be canceled according to the agreed amount in the service package.
- If helper falls ill, we will try to arrange a replacement. However, we cannot guarantee a replacement.
The helper adapts to the daily life of your home
- Our helpers speak English and varying levels of Finnish. You can also receive service assistance from Curon in Finnish.
- The helpers have work experience in child and elderly care, cleaning, laundry, and cooking.
- You are responsible for familiarizing the helper with your household and guiding them in their work.
- The helper uses the tools and equipment of your home, including cleaning equipment.
- Weekend work or changes in shifts are agreed separately.
Curon as a responsible employer
- Curon organises induction training on employment relationships and general job-related training.
- Curon is responsible for the employee’s employment contract, salary, social security costs, occupational healthcare, insurance, vacation pay, and sick leave expenses.
- Curon invoices the customer monthly. The payment term for invoices is 14 days net, and the late payment interest is in accordance with the Interest Act.
