Perheemme asui useita vuosia Singaporessa, ja siell\u00e4 kotiapulaisen palkkaaminen kuului vahvasti kulttuuriin. Helpperist\u00e4mme Jackiest\u00e4 tuli nopeasti perheemme korvaamaton j\u00e4sen. Kun p\u00e4\u00e4timme muuttaa takaisin Suomeen, ei ollut muuta vaihtoehtoa kuin muuttaa yhdess\u00e4 Jackien kanssa.<\/p>\n

Jackien ja meid\u00e4n perheemme suhde on jotain muuta kuin pelkk\u00e4\u00e4 arjen apua. H\u00e4n rakastaa lapsiamme koko syd\u00e4mest\u00e4\u00e4n ja tasapainottaa kiireist\u00e4 lapsiperheel\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4mme kaikin mahdollisin tavoin. Kaiken lis\u00e4ksi h\u00e4n hemmottelee meit\u00e4 herkullisella ruualla. My\u00f6s Jackie halusi mukaamme Suomeen, joten meid\u00e4n oli l\u00f6ydett\u00e4v\u00e4 muuttoon ratkaisu.<\/p>\n

Tiesimme, ett\u00e4 Suomessa oman kodinhoitajan pit\u00e4minen ei ole niin helppoa ja edullista kuin ulkomailla, mutta ymm\u00e4rsimme ett\u00e4 Jackiesta voisi olla suuri apu my\u00f6s yst\u00e4villemme. Saimme nopeasti kasaan useamman perheen, joiden arkiaskareissa Jackie voisi avustaa, ja niin muutimme koko konkkaronkka Espooseen. Ensimm\u00e4iset helpperimme Marilyn, Beth ja Roselle muuttivat Suomeen vuosina 2022 ja 2023 arjen avuksi tuttavapiirimme vanhuksille ja perheille. Ty\u00f6skentelemme samaan aikaan hoitajien kansainv\u00e4lisen rekrytoinnin parissa ja pohdimme, miksi emme voisi rekrytoida hoitajien lis\u00e4ksi my\u00f6s muita ammattihelppereit\u00e4 Suomeen. Varsinkin kun tiimiss\u00e4mme on vanhusten tarpeet hyvin tunteva sairaanhoidon asiantuntija Ringa, joka on n\u00e4hnyt kotihoidon lis\u00e4\u00e4ntyneen palvelutarpeen konkreettisesti ty\u00f6ss\u00e4\u00e4n. P\u00e4\u00e4llimm\u00e4isen\u00e4 haluna meill\u00e4 oli my\u00f6s taata helppereille hyv\u00e4t ty\u00f6olosuhteet Suomessa. Sana kiiri Singaporessa, ja monet helpperit ilmaisivat toiveensa p\u00e4\u00e4st\u00e4 t\u00f6ihin Suomeen.
